Newtech Electrical has more than 20 years experience in the design, manufacture and installation of Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Panels. We offer a wide range of flexible bespoke solutions to our Industrial and Commercial Customers throughout the UK and Europe. Flexibility in response too – from enquiry through to installation we pull out all the stops to meet your timescales.

Low Voltage or LV Switchgear is at the heart of your electrical installation and requires type tested products, innovative design and quality of build and installation. These are the qualities that our Customers rely on us for and our low overheads ensure we are competitive too.

We offer LV solutions based on all the major Manufacturers including Schneider Merlin Gerin and ABB and are a Tier 1 approved Panel Builder for the MODIS range of LV Modular Distribution Switchboards from TE. TE of course is better known under the brand names TYCO and Dorman Smith.

Based in the South East at Harold Wood, Romford, Essex we are conveniently located close to London - just 5 minutes drive from junction 28 of the M25 and 5 minutes walk from the Harold Wood Station.

Our approvals of course include ISO9001:2008 and we are an NIC EIC approved Electrical Contractor so we can do your installation too, if required.

Health and Safety is vital in all we do so all our Engineers and Wiremen carry CSCS Cards and we are a member of Constructionline.

 Sustainability and the Environment is at the heart of all we do. We have enrolled on the new 'Greening the Supply Chain' initiative delivered by North West London Hospitals NHS Trust and the Centre for the Environment and Safety Management for Business (CESMB) at Middlesex University. This is tailored to help us manage our environmental impacts and improve resource efficiency. In March 2012 we were successfully externally assessed and awarded the "Ecostep Bronze" award to demonstrate our commitment to the environment.

There are five steps to Ecostep bronze i.e.  

• Gaining Management Commitment
• Developing an Environmental Policy
• Environmental Legislation - awareness and compliance
• Environmental Indicators – aspects and impacts
• Communication and Awareness Raising . 

These are the foundations of a good environmental management system and having now gained Ecostep Bronze we are considering whether to go for Ecostep Silver and Gold, or to go for a full externally assessed ISO14001 System.

New for 2012 we are proud to announce we power our premises from 100% renewable power sources as certified by the attached Haven Power Biomass Certificate.

Finally on-site training and support is available and we have a program of free Continuing Professional Development CPD seminars covering topics such as "forms and types of separation" and the "updated Buildings Regulations 2006 part L2 updated edition". These are usually held at our Essex Workshop but we may hold them at your premises if practical and you have enough delegates.
